Our Vision
At Mind in Motion LLC, we believe that every child deserves a space where they can feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. This indoor sensory-friendly play space was thoughtfully designed with neurodivergent children in mind, while welcoming ALL children and all abilities to explore, connect, and grow together.
We understand that movement is more than play. We love helping children learn, regulate, and engage with the world around them. That's why our environment emphasizes opportunities for vestibular (balance and movement) and proprioceptive (body awareness) and deep pressure input, helping children build confidence, coordination, and calm through joyful play.
Mind in Motion is also a community hub: a place to host play dates, parent groups, and birthday celebrations in an inclusive and understanding environment.

Meet the Teacher and Founder
My name is Jamie Thicke. I have been an Education Specialist for 8 years, dual credentialed in mild/mod and mod/severe disabilities. I have a wide range of skills and abilities working with ALL children with various needs and ages. I'm currently getting my MS in Kinesiology, adding APE to my credential.

Tuolumne County's first of its kind. An indoor play facility that welcomes children with ALL abilities. With 1,500 sqft to explore, there is something for everyone. First reserve a time under classes, then pay upon arrival.
Playtime!
Sensory Room
Created with our sensory seekers in mind. This room is the ideal spot to help regulate from over stimulation or just to decompress. Equipped with a lycra swing, sensory floor tiles, light table, crash pit, and of course the fan favorite: an illuminated water bubble tube.
Thematic Playroom
This themed play area will keep the littles entertained for a while. With quarterly rotating themes, your child could be cooking in a kitchen, building a spaceship, set at a farm, seeing animals at a zoo — the opportunity for endless imagination is sure to please.
Proprioceptive Aligned Equipment
A custom-built monkey bar system with steel cable/adjustable attachments to meet the intense needs of various sensory profiles. From various styles of swings to climbing ladders, the quality will not be lost. This space is also equipped with a mini jump, excellent for improving self-regulation, attention, and focus.
Tutoring Services
Seeking academic support for your child? I currently offer English and Math support for grade level coursework from Kinder to 5th grade. In addition, I can provide Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal support and coaching. This space is also amazing for birthday parties or other celebrations. Inquire within.
