Our Story

Mind in Motion LLC was founded by Jamie Thicke, an Education Specialist with 8 years of experience working with children of all abilities. Jamie is dual credentialed in mild/mod and mod/severe disabilities and is currently pursuing her MS in Kinesiology with an Adapted Physical Education (APE) credential.
The vision for Mind in Motion grew from Jamie's deep commitment to creating spaces where neurodivergent children — and all children — can thrive. Tuolumne County's first sensory gym was made possible through community support, generous donors, and an unwavering belief that every child deserves access to inclusive play.
